What to expect from your Osteopath?
Clients can receive treatments from our Osteopaths, including massage, manipulation, dry needling, mobilisation techniques and exercise advice. Each practitioner has treatment techniques they prefer to use; they understand one size does not fit all and will alter their style to match you as an individual.
Your treatment will depend on your condition and the Osteopath’s recommendation. Of course, if there is a treatment that you are not comfortable with, they will use a different treatment to achieve the same great results!
Are there any referral requirements?
You do not need a referral to see our Osteopaths. You will require a GP referral under a care plan to receive a Medicare rebate. DVA, Worksafe, and other government-based sessions require a referral from your GP or treating specialist.
How much does an Osteo Consult cost?
Initial osteo consultations at our Boronia Clinic take 45 minutes and begin from $115. Subsequent consultations are 30 minutes and begin from $105. Out-of-pocket costs will vary depending on the Osteopath and the length of your consultation.

Are rebates available for Osteo’s?
Yes, Medicare rebates are available with a GP referral. Some private health funds may fund sessions with an Osteopath. Rebates vary depending on your fund and level of cover.
